چکیده
Decision support systems tackle problems and require systematic planning. They consider physical data, hydrological sediment levels to achieve efficiency adaptability in various situations. Therefore, this research aims identify alternative engineering choices for the management of a river basin with single reservoir system. Optimization techniques, including marine predator algorithm (MPA), genetic (GA), programming (GP), tabu search (TS), flower pollination (FPA), were applied find optimal rule curves using simulation model. The study focused on Ubolratana Reservoir Thailand’s Khon Kaen Province, considering historic inflow water demand, hydrologic sedimentation volume. Four scenarios considered: normal scarcity, high excess water, water. derived from model, incorporating hedging (HR) criteria, found be best choices. In scarcity scenarios, they minimized average shortage 95.558 MCM/year, lowest maximum 693.000 MCM/year. Similarly, resulting minimum overflow 1087.810 MCM/year 4105.660 These findings highlight effectiveness integrating optimization techniques model obtain curves. By HR selected alternatives demonstrated their ability minimize This contributes improved resource decision-making situations excess.

متن کاملLinking hydrology to erosion modelling in a river basin decision support and management system
This paper focuses on the integration of basin sediment transport with a physically-based hydrological model that links the water budget model WaSiM (Water Simulation Model) to the erosion model AGNPS__5. The results of the water budget simulation are then incorporated into the AGNPS_5 model to calculate sediment transport. The surface runoff calculated in WaSiM replaces the SCS curve number ru...
